After taking the first two games against the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Milwaukee Brewers watched as the D-backs bats finally came alive in an 8-1 pounding last night. Yasmany Thomas belted out two homers, driving in five runs in the win.
The Brewers committed five errors in the slop fest, three of which came with the first three at bats.
“The first inning was out of The Twilight Zone,” manager Craig Counsell said. “It’s not something I’ve ever seen. It was just strange, the first two innings really. It was a tough night. It was a strange night. You just put it in the rear view mirror and move on.”
